little snippet for you

adding hard pipes will increase your torque but (BUT i add it will reduce the fueling they are close to there limit
it really needs a set of injectors and calibration)

and no dont right off mr400 just yet

1tub, seems nothing new for the RS was released at Ford Fair over the weekend, according to MT's Bookface page.

Although they did answer in an ever so politician's tone - saying that "the books never close on a model".

Maybe they're going to do a "Steve Jobs" and say "one more thing!"

Dunno.

thats only a very small part of it daz ,the pipes do add torque but if a set of injectors where added along with calibration an say another item then who knows 400+ isnt to optimistic at all 8-)

im not feeling the turbo upgrade as yet from them but ,im sure there is something very simple to add to the mix for that final push over the edge to 400 once hard pipes ,injectors and calibration are added

im up for internals and a turbo though

I think HPK and injectors along with a revised calibration would be the easiest route, and quite achievable in my opinion. The stock RS injectors are at the upper end of their duty cycle in the current spec, so 550cc's are an obvious choice.

The MR400+ concept specs were very appealing to say the least, however if that path came to market it would no longer be a case of "send us your ECU", but rather "send us your car", for the internals to be done, and that would no doubt be a VERY expensive exercise. Of course the reliability would be second to none! But as they say.. you get what you pay for.

So Rico.. when are you heading over to Essex and returning to your PC to report back to us mere mortals? :)
